Coalition Advocating Human Security (CAHS)
A program of CUSA from 2005 to 2010
The Coalition Advocating Human Security was created in 2005 to focus attention on threats to human security and the importance of identifying strategies to protect and empower the world's most vulnerable individuals and communities. Its activities included hosting the annual Human Security Award ceremony, promoting research and education through graduate fellowships, and raising awareness with a human security speaker series. CAHS was hosted as a program of the Center for Unconventional Security Affairs at the University of California, Irvine from 2005 to 2010. The Coalition Advocating Human Security can now be found at:
